An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a quick and painless test that records electrical signals from your heart, showing how often the heart bests and its beat rhythm.

What is an ECG?

Your physician may grant a ECG requisition for routine screening, insurance requirements, or following up on symptoms such as heart palpitations or chest discomfort.

Who is an ECG for?

Through ECGs, Doctors can identify abnormal heart rhythms, signs of coronary artery disease, evidence of a past heart attack, and general heart health.

What can it detect?

A Mobile ECG costs $105 + GST. A valid lab requisition form from your healthcare provider is required to book.

We bring ECG services to you at your Calgary home, office, or preferred location. Mobile lab services are also available in the surrounding areas for an additional fee.

One Visit, Two Tests: Combine Your ECG with Bloodwork

Book your ECG and blood and/or urine sample collection in a single visit for $125, instead of $199 when booked separately. One appointment, one technician, one convenient stop for both tests, taken care of on your schedule. A valid lab requisition is required to schedule.

  • Yes. A valid ECG requisition from your physician or healthcare provider is required before booking.

  • An ECG on its own is $105. If you're also booking bloodwork or a urine sample, combine both in one visit for $125, instead of $199 if booked separately.

  • The test itself takes about 10 minutes. Plan for a short window before and after for setup.

  • Some extended health or benefits plans may cover mobile ECG testing. We recommend checking with your provider. FloLabs does not offer direct billing.

  • Your recording is reviewed and results are sent to your ordering physician for follow-up.
